Book review for Whispers of the Voidbringer, tabletop RPG focused chapter book!

Whispers of the Voidbringer by M. Allen Hall is a TTRPG-inspired novel that gives a great example of kids playing D&D. It follows the epic adventures of a group of player characters as they navigate a classic fantasy world in danger…. And it also follows the parallel journey of the kids playing these characters as they navigate each other, learn the game, and experience this awesome quest. It was a fun read, and I hope you enjoy it as well!

Review of Starsworn and the Stories RPG System, teaching literacy through games!

I was very excited to review StarSworn, not just because it is a system my kid can easily pick up, but because it comes from a fam-friendly story podcast! This game was a lot of fun to play, and my kid (and I) are enjoying listening to the podcast as well!

Review of DnD Adventure Club: a collection of tabletop RPG stories for kids!

When I first heard of DnD Adventure Club, I was excited to check it out! It is a monthly D&D adventure subscription with ready-made stories that are appropriate for and geared at kids ages 8-12! I loved reviewing the quickstart and first adventure for DnD Adventure Club and think this would be great for kids and for adult players who are new to D&D alike!

Roll Dice, Build Character by Mark Hasen covers the benefits of kids playing tabletop RPGs and discusses some of the concerns or questions that parents may have about the game too. This is a great read for anyone on the fence, just starting out, or trying to convince other parents to let their kids join the gaming table!

I was recommended Amazing Tales by so many people and was very happy to eventually try it out! Amazing Tales was very flexible, super engaging for my kid, and easy to pick up. It was a lot of fun, and I had a great time introducing it to my family.

All Ages tabletop RPG Review: Shrewmanji!

Shrewmanji is an adorable and funny take on a Jumanji style setting! As a fan of both the original and new Jumanji movies, it was a lot of fun being able to jump into this game and share a wild board/video game style jungle adventure with my family!

Dino Ninja was a fun and engaging game to play with my kid! It was easy for my child to connect with, and the mechanics were quick to pick up in the first game session. This is a great game for anyone looking for some dino tabletop top RPG action adventures!

Review of Milky Monsters, a kid-focused tabletop RPG for large groups

Milky Monsters is a fun system, designed to play with kids and give flexibility for the story (and kid’s imaginations). It was made to accommodate large groups, but it also worked with just me and my little one too!
