Review of Wanderlust: A tabletop RPG about saying goodbye

Wanderlust is a collaborative tabletop RPG about learning to say goodbye as you head off into the next part of your life (whether that be seeking the lost city of dragons or moving to a new school). It is a peaceful and melancholy journal-based game that, while still being fun, let my kid and me explore a new tone to our games, and showed me how much he’s starting to grow up.

Solo-journaling tabletop RPG review: GDEC, Global Dragon Egg Conservation

I’ve been meaning to try a journaling TTRPG with my kid for some time, and GDEC was a great choice to start with! It has a quick premise to jump into, a good hook (I mean, you’re taking care of dragon eggs, so that’s a big win), and the prompts are fun to think about an answer. Kiddo and I liked playing this journaling tabletop RPG game together, and I hope you do too!
