TTRPGkids on Ludology Podcast, Episode 21: Breakdown of Photosynthians, a science class TTRPG
TTRPGkids has a regular spot on Ludology Podcast, and in this part of the series, I’ll be talking about educational TTRPGs! Episode 21 gets into how Photosynthians, a TTRPG that teaches about the plant cycle, can be used in the classroom!
Ludology podcast is a discussion-based show about the hows and whys of tabletop games! They have longer form episodes every other week, and, on one of the off weeks each month, we have the TTRPGkids show. These shorter episodes will cover topics that are focused on tabletop RPGs for kids and youth, and I’m excited to share the link to the 20th episode here!
In this episode, I talk about how a particular game, Photosynthians, is made for classroom use and can be used to teach science on a specific subject. This example can be used by teachers looking for idea or for creators wondering how to make their games usable in classroom settings.
