TTRPGkids is going to be at ConFusion 2025 (Jan 24-26)!
What is ConFusion (MI)?
ConFusion is the longest running sci-fi and fantasy convention in Michigan, celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year! It’s run by the non-profit, Ann Arbor Science Fiction Association, and hosts a variety of authors, artists, and other interesting folks each year for a weekend of wonderfully nerdy fun.
What has my experience been with ConFusion (MI)?
Last year, Steph from TTRPGkids was a Guest of Honor, and… it was a blast! I made friends with some awesome local fellow writers, got to chat with a favorite author of mine (John Scalzi), and really enjoyed running some TTRPG events for the kids and teens.
This year, I’m particularly looking forward to running the TTRPG Pizza Party for the kids, getting to be part of more panels, and maybe winding down with some Star Trek movies that are running through the whole event.
What is TTRPGkids doing at ConFusion MI 2025?
This year, I’ll be running a booth in the vendor hall that will have works from myself and from other kid-friendly creators available. In addition to boothing, I’ll also be participating in a whole buch of events, including:
Friday (Jan 24)
- 4pm – Meet & Greet w/Self Publishers
Saturday (Jan 25)
- 11am – Dungeon Mayhem (kids’ room)
- 12pm – Sparking Creativity (panel)
- 2pm – Do’s and Don’t’s of Fandoms (panel)
- 4pm – Author Signing
- 8pm – TTRPG Pizza Party (kids’ room)
Sunday (Jan 26)
- 12pm – Writing as Resistance
- 1pm – Author Reading
