TTRPGkids Episode 19 on The Ludology Podcast

TTRPGkids on Ludology Podcast, Episode 19: Classroom ready TTRPGs

TTRPGkids has a regular spot on Ludology Podcast, and in this part of the series, I’ll be talking about educational TTRPGs! Episode 19 looks talks about what makes a TTRPG ready for use in the classroom and how creators can integrate tools for teachers into their games!

Ludology podcast is a discussion-based show about the hows and whys of tabletop games! They have longer form episodes every other week, and, on one of the off weeks each month, we have the TTRPGkids show! These shorter episodes will cover topics that are focused on tabletop RPGs for kids and youth, and I’m excited to share the link to the 19th episode here!

In this episode, I walk through, in general terms, so not subject specific, how a tabletop RPG can be made for use in the classroom with intention and tools for teachers available from the start. From including lesson plans to paying attention to typical classroom length requirements, there are several factors that can make your game more accessible to educators in the settings they’re limited to instead of expecting them to totally adjust your game or their class to fit (i.e. the game and the class can work together)!
