All-ages Christmas TTRPGs that I’ve checked out on TTRPGkids
Trouble at Santa’s Workshop
Trouble at Santa’s Workshop is a tabletop RPG that is definitely geared at being a kid or family game. For this tabletop RPG, you are one of Santa’s helpers and your job is to help fix an issue (there are 6 pre-generated ones to roll for or you can make your own) before Christmas! They range from issues in the workshop to helping Santa out directly and were fun catalysts to start an adventure together.

I Went to the North Pole Once
I Went to the North Pole Once is a storytelling heavy game that’s set in a wintery land full of toy workshops, holiday treats, and lots of fun Christmas and winter themed activities with 22 possible locations to visit off of roll tables in the game! This TTRPG requires no maps or combat and is more about trying to one-up your friends in the wild stories you can tell.

Hero Kids (holiday adventure)
The Hero Kids Yultide Adventure is part of the Hero Kids system (but can also be used as a frame for other adventures), and is a great romp through some holiday folk lore. You’ll be trying to find Odin for the yearly celebration… and encountering plenty of yeti and mischief-filled situations along the way.

Holiday Respite
Holiday Respite works well for either young kids or grown ups and can be played as part of a mixed ages group! The game involves rolling for prompts from various tables that set up a framework for you telling a story about a fantastical Christmas adventure that you’ve all been on together!
You can find my review of Holiday Respite here!
Dice the Halls
Dice the Halls is a 1-4 player TTRPG with little to no combat and lots of opportunity for holiday shenanigans! It’s made for the d12go system, which is a rules lite system made with the intention of accessibility for all ages, and it is super cute (you’re playing as wintery critters helping out at The North Pole)!
A review for Dice the Halls is coming soon to TTRPGkids! Keep an eye out through the month of December 2024 for more!

Other all-ages Christmas TTRPGs to check out!
The games listed above are ones that have articles on TTRPGkids about them and that have a particularly Christmas-y cheer kind of vibe, however… there are a lot more TTRPGs out there that I haven’t had the opportunity to play (yet).
To help with covering more games, I still have another list that include all the ones I’ve found so far, even if I haven’t had a chance to personally play them, and I update this list when someone recommends a game to me to check out. So, visit this Winter and Holiday Themed Tabletop RPGs (and Game Supplements) for Kids list for more recommendations!
