TTRPGkids on Ludology Podcast, Episode 10: Including educational elements in your TTRPGs
Ludology podcast is a discussion-based show about the hows and whys of tabletop games! They have longer form episodes every other week, and, on one of the off weeks each month, we have the TTRPGkids show! These shorter episodes will cover topics that are focused on tabletop RPGs for kids and youth, and I’m excited to share the link to the tenth episode here!

In Episode 10, I talk about how TTRPGs are, by their nature, educational and how you can add intentional teaching moments into your games. These methods can be used in school settings (classrooms or after school programs) or in games at home. If you’d like some additional resources on educational TTRPGs, I have a whole section of this site devoted to TTRPGs x EDU that includes:
- Intentionally educational TTRPGs
- Scholarly resources to help with proposals/research,
- Interviews with educators who are using in-class TTRPGs
- My own personal XP on using TTRPG elements with students
I hope it helps, and happy gaming!
